Day 149: Would you rather love one person or have many short relationships
her-pieceofmind:
I’d rather love one person. If that person loves me for who I am and despite my every flaw and mistakes, they stay with me then I wouldn’t mind being with him forever. Short relationships are pointless. I get the “fun” in that and having someone make you feel special, at such a small amount of time. But I’d rather have someone who’s been with me for years, who understands me, and who would do anything just to make me happy. I’m rather have one person who can make me feel special in different ways.

Day 115: Is it possible to be single and happy
her-pieceofmind:
Yes, it’s possible.
In relationships:
- You have someone to call your significant other/girlfriend/boyfriend
- You get to cuddle
- You get to kiss
- You get to hang out with someone
- You feel special
- You get good morning and goodnight texts
- You feel secure
However, your friends and family can also take those place. Being in a relationship just means that you have someone who you love being with and you care for a lot. It’s almost the same as a friendship except there’s no kissing or whatsoever that couples do. I was happy being single, I really was. I was always hanging out with friends and all. Actually, I was fangirling over my Korean ‘husbands’. I still fangirl even though I’m in a relationship but my boyfriend understands me. And I never thought I’d get back into dating someone again but my relationship happened unexpectedly. I don’t regret being a relationship, it just means that I have someone to call my own. And it makes me happier. I wasn’t lonely when I was single, I had my friends. Sure, I got lonely sometimes and missed being in relationships but my friends were always there for me - spazzing with me about my Korean ‘husbands’ so I was all good. It’s possible to be single and happy. Those people are single and are unhappy are looking for love. That’s the thing though, you don’t look for love, let love find you. I mean, that’s what happened with me.

I like people who understand.
The type who aren’t quick to judge. You can vent to them, and labeling you will be the last thing on their mind. They don’t believe rumors because they know there are two sides to every story. They give you chance, before they judge you. They get to know who you really are, then have an opinion. I like those type of people, real people.
